Pre-Use Checklist

  • Tool Power: Install a brand-new 9V battery (Alkaline recommended).

    Note: Battery not included.

  • Sensor Health: Ensure vehicle sensors have full power. A weak or dead sensor battery is the #1 cause of relearn failure.

Step 1: Enter TPMS Relearn Mode

The vehicle must be in TPMS Relearn Mode before sensor relearning can begin.

  1. Shift to P (Park) and turn the ignition to ON/RUN without starting the engine, or enter Service Mode if equipped.
  2. Use the DIC controls to open Vehicle Information and select the Tire Pressure screen.
  3. Press and hold SET/CLR. If prompted, press SET/CLR again to confirm.
  4. The horn will sound twice and the display may show "TIRE LEARN" or "TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE."

    Note: Procedures may vary by model. Refer to your Owner's Manual for the exact steps.

Step 2: Relearn TPMS Sensors

  1. Start at the Left Front (LF) tire.
  2. Position the antenna tip against the rubber sidewall near the valve stem.

    IMPORTANT: Point at the rubber sidewall, not the metal valve stem or wheel rim.

  3. Press the power button and wait for the horn to sound.
  4. Follow this order for all 4 tires:
    Left Front (LF) → Right Front (RF) → Right Rear (RR) → Left Rear (LR)
  5. After the final tire, the horn will sound twice again to confirm that relearning is complete.

    Note: If the horn does not chirp within 2 minutes, the system will time out. Restart from Step 1.

Troubleshooting Checklist

If activation fails, verify the following:

  • Vehicle Compatibility: This tool is designed for GM vehicles only. It is not compatible with other brands or vehicle models.

Set the switch to the correct mode before use.

  • G = GM Group (flashing green indicator).

  • F = Ford Group (steady green indicator).

G GM Vehicles

  2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Press and release the brake pedal.
  3. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN 3 times, ending in the RUN position.
  4. Press and release the brake pedal again.
  5. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  6. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN 3 times again, ending in the RUN position.
  7. The horn will sound once. If equipped, the message center may display “Train Left Front Tire.”

B. Ford Vehicles (Push-Button Start / PBS)

  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Make sure the vehicle is in the OFF position.
  3. Press and release the brake pedal.
  4. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the START button 5 times.
  5. Press and release the brake pedal again.
  6. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the START button 6 times.
  7. The horn will sound once. If equipped, the message center may display “Train Left Front Tire.”

Step 2: Relearn TPMS Sensors

  1. Start at the Left Front (LF) tire.
  2. Hold the tool against the rubber sidewall near the valve stem.

    Important: Point at the rubber sidewall, not the metal valve stem or rim.

  3. Press the Power Button until the horn chirps.
  4. Follow this order:
    LF → RF → RR → LR
  5. The horn beeps twice when relearn is complete.

  3. Hold the antenna end on the right side of the tool against the tire sidewall, close to the valve stem.
  4. Press the Relearn Button.
  5. When the horn beeps once, the sensor has been activated successfully.
  6. Continue in this order: LF → RF → RR → LR
  7. When the last tire is finished, the horn will beep twice, indicating the relearn process is complete.

Important: Point at the rubber sidewall, not the metal valve stem or rim.

Operation Instructions

  1. Turn on the power switch on the back of the tool, then press the Gauge Button.
  2. If needed, press the Gauge Button again to switch pressure units: PSI / BAR / kPa / kg/cm².
  3. Firmly press the air nozzle onto the tire valve stem and keep a tight seal.
  4. When the indicator light flashes, read the pressure value on the display.
  5. Remove the tool and check the reading.
  6. If needed, inflate or deflate the tire and measure again.

Note: The display will automatically turn off after about 30 seconds of inactivity.

Troubleshooting

If activation fails, check the following:

  • Vehicle: This tool supports GM vehicles only (Chevy, Buick, Cadillac, GMC).

  • Relearn Mode: Confirm the vehicle is in TPMS Relearn Mode before activating.

The VXDAS T100-G is a USB-C rechargeable TPMS relearn tool designed for most GM, Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler vehicles. It helps activate TPMS sensors during the vehicle's TPMS relearn process.

Step 1: Enter TPMS Relearn Mode

Before using this tool, the vehicle must be placed into TPMS Relearn Mode. Procedures may vary depending on the vehicle model, year, and ignition type. For model-specific instructions, please refer to the vehicle owner's manual.

For GM Vehicles:

  1. Shift the vehicle to P (Park).
  2. Turn the ignition to ON/RUN without starting the engine, or enter Service Mode if equipped.
  3. Use the vehicle information buttons to open the Vehicle Information menu and select the Tire Pressure screen.
  4. Press and hold SET/CLR, or follow the dashboard prompt. If prompted, select Yes.
  5. When the horn sounds and the dashboard displays a relearn message such as "Tire Learning Active" or "Left Front Tire," the vehicle is ready.

For EVIC-Equipped Vehicles:

  1. Turn the ignition to ON/RUN without starting the engine.
  2. Use the EVIC / Vehicle Information Center menu.
  3. Select RETRAIN TIRE SENSORS, then select YES.
  4. The display may show "TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE."

Step 2: Activate Each Sensor

  1. Start at the Left Front (LF) tire.
  2. Hold the tool near the valve stem and press the activation button.

    IMPORTANT: Keep the transmitter tip close to the rubber sidewall near the valve stem — not the metal valve stem or wheel rim.

  3. When the sensor is successfully activated, the vehicle may confirm with a short horn chirp or an on-screen prompt.
  4. Move to the next tire in the fixed relearn order and repeat.

Step 3: Complete the Relearn Process

Activate each sensor in the following order:

LF → RF → RR → LR

After the last tire is activated, the vehicle will confirm the relearn process is complete. Some vehicles may confirm with horn beeps or an on-screen message.

  5. Press and release the brake pedal once, then turn ignition back to OFF.
  6. Cycle ignition from OFF → RUN 3 times again, ending in RUN. Do not start the engine.
  7. When training mode starts, the horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator may flash. The message center may display "Train Left Front Tire."

For Ford Vehicles — Push-Button Start (PBS):

  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Make sure the vehicle is in the OFF position.
  3. Press and release the brake pedal.
  4. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the START button 5 times.
  5. Press and release the brake pedal again.
  6. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the START button 6 times.
  7. The horn will sound once. The message center may display "Train Left Front Tire."

Step 2: Select GM or Ford

  1. Long press the O Button to power on the tool.
  2. Short press the O Button to switch between GM and Ford.
  3. Press the Signal Button to confirm.

    After confirmation, the tool will enter the sensor activation screen.

Step 3: Activate TPMS Sensors

  1. Start from the Left Front tire shown on the screen.
  2. Place the Top Sensor Head against the rubber sidewall near the valve stem.

    Do not point at the metal valve stem or rim.

  3. Long press the Signal Button to start activation.
  4. Keep the tool in position until the 5-second progress bar is complete.
  5. When prompted, select Y if the vehicle beeps or flashes hazard lights, then press Signal Button to confirm. The tire position will show a green check mark.
  6. If the vehicle does not respond, select N, confirm, and reactivate the same tire.
  7. Move to the next tire position and repeat.

Tip: Short press O Button or Signal Button to switch tire positions manually.

After all four tires show green check marks, the screen will display:

Activation Completed

  • The vehicle usually gives two horn beeps to confirm completion.

  • Check whether the TPMS warning light turns off. Some vehicles may require a short drive for the TPMS system to update.

Troubleshooting Checklist

If activation fails or the TPMS warning light stays on after relearn, check:

  • Vehicle Group: Correct group selected: GM or Ford.

  • Relearn Mode: Vehicle is in TPMS Relearn Mode.

  • Tool Battery: Tool battery is charged.

  • Position: Sensor head is near the valve stem — not aimed at the metal valve stem or rim.

  • Sensor Type: OEM or properly programmed replacement sensors.
